This book is written in simplistic form, which may be appealing to some, yet quite informative. As a competitive natural bodybuilder, I can refer to this book for my competition diet, stage presence, and supplements. The workout routines are somewhat generic and basic, highlighting proper form and technique. Anyone setting foot on a gym floor (whether it public or home) should read this first. Chris does a good job describing different workouts for the beginner, intermediate, and advanced trainee. He also gives special nutrition advice for endomorphs and women. I must say though, Chris, before you spill out another edition, please add a table of contents and index. There is no way to use this as a quick reference, I thumb through for 20 minutes at a time, just trying to get back to something I read prior.
