Harvard Business Review is a general management magazine published since 1922 by Harvard Business School Publishing, owned by the Harvard Business School. A research-based magazine written for business practitioners, it claims a high ranking business readership and enjoys the reverence of academics, executives, and management consultants. It has been the frequent publishing home for well known scholars and management thinkers, among them Clayton M. Christensen, Peter F. Drucker, Michael E. Porter, Rosabeth Moss Kanter, Gary Hamel, C.K. Prahalad, Robert S. Kaplan, and others. Management and business concepts and terms such as "Balanced scorecard," "Core competence," "Strategic intent," "Reengineering," "Globalization," "Marketing myopia," and "Glass ceiling" were first given prominence in HBR's pages. Its worldwide English-language circulation is 240,000, and there are 11 licensed editions of the magazine, including two Chinese-language editions, a German edition, and an English-language South Asia edition. The magazine is editorially independent of Harvard Business School. It is not peer reviewed.

In 2002, a management and editorial staff shakeup occurred at the publication after the revelation of an affair between editor-in-chief Suzy Wetlaufer and former General Electric CEO Jack Welch. Two senior editors left complaining the affair initiated during Wetlaufer's work with Welch for an article had broken ethical standards and cited an unfair office climate. Shortly after the resignations, Wetlaufer resigned on March 8 amid further rebuke by remaining staff. Three months later, the publisher, Penelope Muse Abernathy, was also forced out.

The Editor and Managing Director of Harvard Business Review is currently Thomas A. Stewart. Under Stewart's leadership the Review has worked to use strategic partnerships to expand its reach.

pw not working

Do exactly, plz. It's work 100%
thanks!
So it took me an hour to download it from depositfiles (their slots for my country were always full, and I had to refresh the page few dozen times like a dumb monkey), 'cos emags posted just one mirror -- apparently just for the fun of it. Then I got treated with PDF password protection for the archive, password protection inside PDF and emag's email on every page of the magazine. All of that got me so pissed that I've removed both pASSword protections and emag's 'copyrights' from the mag and posted it on RapidShare in pure and free PDF glory. Enjoy!

ps. Emags, it's only cool to do all of that if you actually ripped that mag yourself from Zinio. Trying to profit from the efforts of the scene people is very, very uncool.

I think that jamesone had broken the forum's rule.

@jamesone :
u might break the forum rules , but to be honest with u : i think u have done what should be done
@jamesone is correct.

Why the need for passwords if you are sharing?

That is why it is called sharing.
To M.D.K and MAJ:

OK

The next time, you'll get more and more passwords.

Everything has its rule.

Best regards,
thank you, emags!
Thanks to emags and jamesone.

Isn't it interesting that DepositFiles should be the most popular non-RS mirror? Of course, it isn't at all surprising, for reasons that will be found in many AvaxHome posts. ;)

IMO DepositFiles treats us as arrogantly as RS and I hate having to click thru and delete so many spam pages, but at least i'm not asked to wait over an hour between d/loads. :(

I don't mind password-protected archives (a sensible, *unusual* password delays deletion from server) but like jamesone would get really pissed off to find that the PDF file inside is not only password-protected but also contain the poster's email address. So pissed off, in fact, that I would never download anything from that poster again (havent got the time to edit PDFs).

However, I take issue with jamesone on 2 points:
1) We should use FTP2Share, rather than post links openly, since it makes it easier for others to add mirrors to a central location.
2) Posting it on RS "in pure and free PDF glory" doesn't help those of us who can't afford a premium subscription, nor wait the necessary time delay for such a small file.

So a MiHD mirror of jamesone's efforts has turned up at emags original link, and also below, since accidents happen and non-original mirrors can "disappear":

Best regards,

Oh, that's grown-up ... sheesh

Are you trying to make people leave Avax - fuck - it's hard enough to stay now with the excessive clicking and fucking around :| grrr

jamesone - thanks!
Right now I seem to be having difficulty in adding mirrors to FTP2Share, so will leave that till later.
thanks...
thanks

In my next issues of Havard Business Review, maybe you'll need three passwords to open the file ;-)
